  1. Good article. I disagree that the methodology of affinity groups is a result of ‘splintering’. (Though I have other thoughts about affinity groups and their problematic though usually necessary secrecy.) Good on ya comrade. I’ve written up my perspectives too.

Thanks Sophielle. I did wonder if ‘splintering’ was a misleading choice of word, with its implied fractiousness, but went with it because I couldn’t think of anything better…

  2. Yeah – the bits which are about the things you care about (RBS and their business practices) will get publicity that’s not seen as being “about climate camp”, and the ones directly about climate camp will be the ones that are more exciting – i.e. the breaking of windows/gluing to desks.

So long as there are articles of the first kind being produced because of climate camp, it seems worthwhile.

  3. I am working on a cure or two for climate change. I came across your resonata site by way of a java site that has many particle and wave scripts. I am in awe of the resonator. It is more than a pretty picture or a screen saver. A lot of these look Mathematic based. I am wrong I think. I would like to know if possible.

I figure you are swamped with email, etc. Do you hire out for jobs? I am not in your country. However, that never stopped anything. I am most interested in oscillators of all kinds. I hate math because of the rules. So, I have to do a lot on intuitive thinking. I have gone a long way on it however. In these math based graphics programs, I realize that I can miss something with my distust of math.

I have not a single suggest or critic for someone who is obviously more intelligent than me. I think the most of your work.

Hi P.F. Thank you – glad you like my work! I wouldn’t go so far as to say I’m swamped by email, at least not about this sort of thing, and yes, I do hire out for jobs.

As you say, basically all my animated graphics to date are based on mathematics; I’m pretty sure that almost everybody who has a problem with the subject was put off by unpleasant and baffling early experiences. I believe it’s easier, more comprehensible and relevant, and a lot more beautiful than a lot of people think!

I’m curious what you imagine would cure climate change…
