Who I Am

My name is Fergus Ray-Murray*, and I am a PhD candidate at the University of Paisley, currently living in Edinburgh with my wife, Padmini.

I also like to drink teas and climb trees, though not necessarily at the same time.

* I actually prefer to write Ray Murray unhyphenated, but it tends to confuse people as to which bit is my surname, so I'm using Ray-Murray here. I figure if inconsistent hyphenation is good enough for Jonathan Rhys Meyers, it's good enough for me.

I was Fergus Crawshay Murray until I got married on the 1st of July 2005, when we both changed our surnames to Ray Murray.
